FabFitFun Box Review & $10 Off Your First One

After seeing many Facebook videos of celebrities and reality tv stars opening their FabFitFun boxes, I had to get in on the fun and see what it was about!  How exciting to have this box full of surprise goodies arrive at your door!?!  This box is seasonal so just 4 a year rather than monthly. It comes filled with full size products ranging from skincare to makeup to fitness items and the total value of this box was over $350!

How it works is you can opt to pay up front for the year for $179.99 or just pay $49.99 for each box and you’ll be charged before it ships (this is what I did) .  Doing the annual plan allows some special perks like priority shipping and you can customize items.

You can also get $10 off your first box here!

So here’s what I got:

Gypsy05 Roundie beach/picnic blanket – $50.  Can’t wait to use this summer!

Milly Zip Pouch – $45.  There were different versions included in boxes and I was really hoping I’d get the Beach Please one but oh well.  This is cute too.

Karuna Hydrating Mask – $28.  I loved this!!  Amazing for dry skin though you look kind of scary wearing it.

RealHer Lip Kit – $48.  This was another product that had different options but since I just had the seasonal plan, I couldn’t pick.

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion – $79.  I’d likely not spend that on a skin care product so I’m excited to get to try this out!

Briogeo Leave In Conditioner Spray – $20.  I’m not really into hair care products but honestly this stuff is amazing!  100% will be buying again.

Deborah Lipman Nail Polish set – $19.  So apparently this is by a celebrity manicurist and I’m excited to try this out!

Luv AJ Earring Set – $85.  The highest price point in the box, super cute but one of mine was missing a stone.  I wrote in and they sent me a new one and I didn’t even have to bother sending the other one back.

Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies – $10

All in all I loved the experience and excitement of the surprise as well as the products I received. You can do the math and see you’re really getting bang for your buck with all these products.  Another bonus, I felt that they picked high quality products from ethical companies.  For example, Gypsy 05 incorporates organic fabrics and uses printing techniques that are better for the environment.  RealHer is all natural, cruelty free make up that also gives back through donating “20% of all gross profits to the American Association of University Women (AAUW)”.  I love supporting companies that with a mission!

Spring Shoe Faves at Target

FullSizeRender (1)

Stop what you’re doing right now and head to target.com and browse the shoe section because right now they’re buy one, get one 50% off through Saturday!  Better yet, get to the store if you can.  I recently bought a few pairs of shoes there and had to share my favorites and also a few tips for buying online.

dv Rose Sneakers

FullSizeRender (2)
These are my favorite style I purchased this season and apparently I was late to the party barbecue they’re sold out online and I had to do the find in store.  The closest that had them was 30 minutes away.  Worth it.  If you can find them, buy them.  Another cute slip on sneaker that I spotted at the store is the Reese Slip On Sneaker.  They come in pink too but my favorite is the olive green.

dv Bailey Slide Sandals

I love these in all three colors but I went with black to start!  I’ll likely soon be getting the white/brown pair as well.  These were even comfortable on day one of wearing

dv Kassi Peep Toe Pump

I found these in the store and they adorable and so stylish but they didn’t have my size.  I ordered the beige ones online when I saw the BOGO sale and can’t wait to get them!

Merona Didi Mule Pumps
Grey all the way in these!  I love the ease of mule and I love that the block heel is in style because it’s so much easier to walk in.

Elinor d’Orsay Ghillie Lace Up Espadrille

These run pretty big, so I’d recommend a half size down.  Otherwise they’re stylish and on trend with the lace up ties and a comfortable addition to your closet!

A few other top picks that caught my eye!

TJ Maxx Find: Michael Kors Sweater

I was super excited to check out a new TJ Maxx in my area and it was awesome!  I had to share this amazing fringe trim sweater from Michael Kors.  Originally $100 and I got it for $40!!!

Fringe is in and a must have for your wardrobe.  And I love that this one is long enough to wear with leggings.  This camel color looks great over my Loft navy ponte leggings (I’m obsessed with these leggings btw) and brown boots.  But it would also look great over black leggings with black boots.   I accessorized the cowl neck with a long pendant – the Rebel from Stella & Dot.

This is a stylish yet comfy outfit and I might be wearing this on Thanksgiving!

Fab Fall Outfit – Chunky Sweater & Leggings

I’ve got to highlight one of my favorite outfits of the season which is super comfy – a chunky knit sweater with leggings and boots, go flat like riding boots or even Uggs if you’re doing super casual or dress up with boots with a chunky heel like I have pictured here.

Lace Up SweaterChicwish lace up is all rage and not just in shoes.  I love seeing this trend in clothing too!

Ponte LeggingsLOFT these are thicker, high quality leggings.  Comfortable, slimming, and I like the double seam on the side.  These are thick enough to wear as work out pants too, meaning you don’t have to worry if your butt is covered by your top because they aren’t see-through.  🙂

Chunky Heel Suede Boots – Carlos by Carlos Santana on 6pm.com I love that chunky heels are back.  Much easier to walk in! These are OTK (over the knee) though on me they’re just at the knee.  Great tip – on 6pm.com you can filter by shaft height along with many other filters.

And my Stella & Dot jewels to accessorize of course!  I went with rose gold to play on the neutral blush tone of the sweater.

Casual Fall Weekend Outfit

After 80’s this week, it finally cooled down again and I was ready to embrace Fall again and  break out the flannel and boots!

Merona Field Jacket I this jacket at Target and I’m loving olive green this season!  And it was only $40.

Mossimo Flannel Shirt  I’m obsessed with this flannel shirt.  Nice comfy fabric, slightly roomy (I probably could have gotten a small) and it’s only $23.

Gap Skinny Jeans I’ve had the jeans since last year, they were called the Always Skinny but looks like they’ve rename the fit to True Skinny.  And these are on sale for under $60 🙂

The riding boots were from last year from one of my FAVORITE shoe websites – 6pm.com.  They have amazing deals and I got these for under $100. Best feature is being able to filter the shaft height.  I’m 5′ 7″and I often have boots that end up being too short.

And I styled with some of my Stella & Dot favorites.

Did you know there’s two sweet deals at Target this week!? Get a $5 gift card back with $20 beauty purchase. Great time to stock up on some basics!
$10 off a $40 purchase on clothes, shoes or accessories!

I’m definitely taking advantage of this because for being a discount store, Target has some great style!

I’ve been perusing the website and had just recently been to the store too. Here’s a few items that caught my eye!

Merona Dorothy Suede Loafer $24.95
Yes real suede! And in 4 colors. At that price you can snag two!

Merona Utility Jacket – $39.99

I came across this jacket in the store and loved it for a nice casual fall look. It might have been 95 degrees yesterday but Fall is coming!

Workout outifts!

C9 Champion® Women’s Featherweight Tank – $14.99

C9 Champion® Performance Legging – $34.99

love this top and leggings for a great price! I’m definitely not one to spend $100 on yoga pants.

And as for the beauty deal – I’m just going to call out my new favorite discovery at Target and that is the Yes to Coconut products. Amazing for dry skin and the smell reminds me of the beach!  Another bonus is they’re products are 95% natural and they don’t test on animals.

Happy shopping!
